Start by counting how many things actually need to be plugged in at once. Most desks only need two live ports: one for the laptop, one for everything else on a dock.

A 3-in-1 charging stand replaces three separate pads and hides the cables underneath it. Braided cables in one length and one colour make the leftovers look deliberate instead of accidental.

Finally, route the single remaining cable along the back edge of the desk with adhesive clips. Ten minutes of work, and the desk reads as “finished” in every video call.
